Clever ‘tuning’ of the insulating properties of EPS has resulted in innovation: the ‘grey EPS’ Lambdapor® is the new dimension in thermal building standards.

Limitations on space often place extreme demands on energy saving measures. In building refurbishment the challenge is to maximise the efficiency of insulation within the confined space available.

The innovative EPS product Lambdapor® makes the most of the area under treatment. The presence of infra-red reflecting and absorbing additives dramatically reduces the penetration of heat radiation. Result: the desired insulation can be achieved with sheets that are up to 20 percent thinner. Where every millimetre counts, this is decisive added value that opens up new possibilities in building.

The “grey EPS“ Lambdapor® is just as easy to work with as “white EPS“, and offers practically unlimited possibilities for use in heat and sound insulation projects.

Lambdapor® 750 (flame-retardant version) is predominantly suitable for façade insulation, soundproof boards, inter-joist insulation, sandwich elements and panels.

Lambdapor® 753 is a fine-grain, flame-retardant type. Ideal for shaped parts with densities above 18 kg/m3, insulating boxes, sparring elements, high-density insulation panels, modular elements (ICF).
