Safety Data Sheet
sunpor® A243 is expandable polystyrene granulate (EPS) which can be processed into foam blocks.

Low and medium-density foam blocks made from sunpor® A243 are used as thermal insulation boards for construction applications without special requirements concerning flame resistance, or for packaging applications.

Shipped in octabins containing 1,150 kg net of material.
Typical applications:
  • Block and shape mouldings
Suitable for food packaging.

Technical data sheet
Safety Data Sheet
sunpor® A321 is used as a multi-application packaging material for contour mouldings with a minimum wall thickness of 10 mm.

Properly processed EPS foam packaging made from sunpor® A321 provides high mechanical strength also with low densities, is not hygroscopic, and does not become friable in low temperatures.

Shipped in octabins containing 1,150 kg net of material.
Typical applications:
  • Shape mouldings with thinner walls
Suitable for food packaging.

Further information:
Technical data sheet

Safety Data Sheet
Because of its small bead size sunpor® A422 is also used for contour mouldings with a wall thickness of less than 10 mm. Mouldings with greater wall thicknesses permit short cooling periods.

Properly processed EPS foam packaging made from sunpor® A422 provides good mould filling properties and high mechanical strength. It is not hygroscopic, and it does not become friable in low temperatures.

Shipped in octabins containing 1,150 kg net of material.
Typical applications:
  • Special grade for very short cycle times
Suitable for food packaging.

Safety Data Sheet
sunpor® A423 is recommended for mass production of shape mouldings where shortest cycle times are essential. Because of its small bead size sunpor® A423 can be used for contour mouldings with a wall thickness of less than 10 mm.

Properly processed EPS foam packaging made from sunpor® A423 provides good mould filling properties and high mechanical strength. It is not hygroscopic, and it does not become friable in low temperatures.

Shipped in octabins containing 1,150 kg net of material.

sunpor® SE

Product
Flame retardant
Typical granulate diameter
Density range
Pentane content (at the time of packaging)
Water content (at the time of packaging)
Typical applications:
  • Lower density and soundproofing blocks

Safety Data Sheet
sunpor® A145 is mainly processed into impact sound insulation blocks. Due to their impact absorbing qualities impact sound insulation blocks are placed below the floor to dampen the noise made by steps.

sunpor® A145 contains polymeric flame retardant and is certified to DIN 4102/B1 and EN 13501-1 class E.

Shipped in octabins containing 1,150 kg net of material.
Typical applications:
  • Classic block moulding grade
Further information:
Technical data sheet

Safety Data Sheet
sunpor® A245 is mainly processed into PS 15 - 20 blocks used for external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS). According to DIN 18164/2 insulating foam boards with a density of 15 kg/m³ are, as EPS-W 15, suitable for thermal insulation applications without special loads, such as: cavity wall insulation, interior wall insulation and interior roof insulation.

EPS foam boards with a minimum density of 20 kg/m³ are also used for thermal insulation applications under mechanical loads.

sunpor® A245 contains polymeric flame retardant and is certified to DIN 4102/B1 and EN 13501-1 class E.

Shipped in octabins containing 1,150 kg net of material.
Typical applications:
  • Block and shape mouldings with flame retardancy
Further information:
Technical data sheet

Safety Data Sheet
sunpor® A355 is processed into PS 20 blocks, i.e. loadbearing thermal insulation, and external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS). It is also suitable for the production of blocks with a specific gravity of 15 - 30 kg/m³ and EPS contour mouldings. Boards with densities of 25 or 30 kg/m³ can also be used for walk-on and drive-on areas, as well as for surfaces planted with greenery.

sunpor® A355 contains polymeric flame retardant and is certified to DIN 4102/B1 and EN 13501-1 class E.

Shipped in octabins containing 1,150 kg net of material.
Typical applications:
  • Mix into light weight plaster or concrete

Safety Data Sheet
sunpor® A415 is an expandable polystyrene granulate (EPS) which is used as a filler material for concrete and plaster. The loose beads of sunpor® A415 can be mixed with concrete and plaster to increase their insulating properties.

sunpor® A415 contains polymeric flame retardant and is certified.

Shipped in octabins containing 1,150 kg net of material.
Typical applications:
  • Light shape mouldings of high strength
